With October upon us, the most important tip to maintaining a healthy looking, fungus and brown patch free lawn is to control the amount of water it gets. As temperatures begin to maintain about 80 degrees watering moderately once a week is sufficient. If we have had rainfall, it is often unnecessary to supplement with sprinklers at all. Another important thing to note as your lawns begin to go dormant is to maintain mowing height of 2 1/2 - 3" for St. Aug and 2" for Bermuda grass. This will also help in preserving the look of your lawn. Our lawn team can be reached at this email.
